Torrington Savings Bank has partnered with Meriden-based Infinex Financial Group to establish TSB Investments, the bank’s new investment division.
The bank said in a statement that Christopher Woodhouse has been appointed as vice president and Infinex financial advisor to lead the new division.
Infinex has provided wealth management and investment services to financial institutions and their customers for over 25 years, the statement said. The partnership with Infinex will allow TSB Investments to provide access to a range of investment and insurance solutions, as well as retirement and college planning.
“Torrington Savings Bank is proud to partner with such a well-respected firm to provide an additional option for our customers to meet their financial goals,” Lesa Vanotti, president and CEO of Torrington Savings Bank, said in the statement.
Woodhouse has 12 years of experience and worked most recently with Webster Investment Services, where he specialized in helping individuals who were at or near retirement, the statement said. The bank added that he provides holistic wealth management services to families and businesses, customizing a plan to address their specific needs.
“Christopher has the ability to work with customers just starting their investment portfolios along with business owners with more complex needs,” Kathleen Katrenya, TSB’s senior vice president of retail banking and marketing, said in the statement. “His knowledge and experience make him the perfect financial partner for TSB clients.”
