A West Hartford apartment building has sold for $2.8 million.

The 18-unit Tiffany Apartments building at 787 Farmington Ave. was built in 1975, according to public records. The 3-story building is mostly made up of large, two-bedroom units. Features include private balconies, central air conditioning, a community room and garage parking under the building according to broker Chozick Realty, which represented the seller.

The Tiffany Apartments is within walking distance of West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square, the town’s commercial and retail center and a regional draw for entertainment and dining in Central Connecticut.

The new owner plans a full cosmetic upgrade of the apartments and common areas to enhance the property and resident experience as well as to add value, Chozick Realty’s Rick Chozick said in a statement.

The seller and buyer were both LLCs registered to residential addresses – the former in Coventry and the latter in Old Saybrook.
