Coldwell Banker commercial real estate agents in Connecticut will have a new boss to report to.

Coldwell Banker Realty announced last week that Michael Mangrum has been named the commercial state director for Florida and the Connecticut and Westchester, New York companies. In this position, Mangrum will be responsible for more than 100 Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT (CBC NRT) affiliated agents and support the activity of more than 400 residential community commercial agents.

Mangrum is an active broker with over 33 years of professional sales, commercial real estate investment and development experience, the company said in an announcement of his promotion. Prior to his new role, Mangrum most recently served as the CBC NRT commercial director of Northwest and Central Florida. Mangrum sits on a variety of social and service-related boards, including president-elect of the Pensacola Association of Realtors, a member of the Realtors Commercial Alliance Committee and board member of the Gulf Coast CMLS Governing Committee.

“Coldwell Banker is widely known and respected by our clients and customers as a trusted name in both the commercial and residential real estate industries. Leadership of our commercial leasing and sales force in the dynamic markets of Connecticut, New York and Florida is a crucial role, and I know Mike will do an outstanding job. He brings to the table decades of expertise and a history of industry leadership,” Joe Valvano, president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York, said in a statement.
