Credit Union Buys North Haven Banquet Facility

A North Haven banquet facility has been sold to a local credit union.

Connex Credit Union bought 404 Washington Ave for $2.57 million. The 15,432-square-foot building sits on a 4-acre site. The building was built in 1996 and has been owned by 404 Assoc. Inc. since its construction, according to public records.

The building was most recently appraised at $1.4 million in 2014.

Connex was represented by Lou Proto of the Proto Group, based in North Haven, while 404 Assoc. was represented by Stephen Press of Hamden-based Press|Cuozzo Commercial.

The $751 million-asset credit union is open to New Haven, Hartford, Middlesex or Fairfield County residents and workers.
