Report: Negotiations Resume on 202-Unit New London Project

A large New London residential development that has been stalled since 2016 may be coming back to life.

The Day reports negotiations have resumed between project owner Franklin Enterprises and an unnamed financial backer for the project.

The project, called Shipway 221, would have 202 residential units on land at 221 Howard St. across from the city’s Fort Trumbull neighborhood, which was once home to a famed local restaurant.
