UConn Student Apartments Sell for $14M

A Willington apartment complex aimed at University of Connecticut students has sold for $14.35 million.

The Willington Oaks complex contains 128 units – 64 one-bedroom flats and 64 two-bedroom townhouses – and can house over 380 UConn students. The complex is located at 380 Daleville Road, roughly 2.5 miles from the main university campus in Storrs.

Rick Chozick and Steve Pappas of the Hartford offices of investment broker Chozick Realty Inc. represented the seller, Willington Oaks LLC, and procured the buyer, TC NY Associates LLC.

Willington Oaks had recently undergone extensive updates including all new boilers, roofs, windows, septic systems and connection to municipal water. The property was most recently appraised in 2018 for $7.84 million.
