An elderly public housing complex in the town of Enfield is slated for a makeover.
The Hartford Business Journal reports the Enfield Housing Authority is planning to ask for planning permission to conduct a $25 million redevelopment and expansion.
The authority wants to rebuild Enfield Manor, an 80-unit elderly housing complex at 17 Enfield Terrace to house an additional 19 units, for a total of 99.
The authority is seeking low-income housing tax credits.
