A Greenwich mansion has sold for $17.5 million, half of its initial asking price.
The sale of 110 Clapboard Ridge Road is likely the town’s largest real estate deal of the year. The property was originally marketed for $35 million in 2015, according to the Greenwich Times.
Leslie McElwreath of Sotheby’s International Realty listed the home with colleague Joseph Barbieri.
The 16,863-square-foot Georgian stone home sits on 5.34 acres, according to the website Sotheby’s set up to market the property.
The home boasts a five-car garage, a 2-story entry hall, an outdoor pool, a home theater, a giant outdoor chess set and six bedrooms, including a “sumptuous” master suite with two baths and two dressing rooms.
