Communication With Architects Is Key
Gerald Lee Morosco, Contributor

The construction or remodeling of a home represents one of the largest financial investments of a lifetime. The client determines quantity and quality, and the architect completes the equation by determining cost. The most successful projects result from clear and open communications between the architect and the client, beginning with the first interview and sustained through the conception and delivery of the project. Pictured above is an example of a project designed by Pittsburgh, Pa., architect Gerald Lee Morosco that demonstrates these collaborative principles.
